- 2009 Dec 01 — Proposal for $100 Dues Increase Plus COLA — Added link to a 2006 post, Should MOA Annual Dues be Indexed for Inflation?. This post makes the same pro and con arguments now being made. The post also includes a graph showing the cost of living and MOA dues through 2006, which shows that the MOA dues trend is well in excess of the Consumer Price Index.
- 2009 Apr 30 — MOA Financial Information Re Dues Increase Vote — According the my notes taken at the meeting, the voting results on the proposal to increase the dues cap (annual fees) from $400 to $475 beginning in 2010 are as follows:
total votes cast: 1238
not in good standing: 33
invalid: 45
yes: 497 (43% of valid votes)
no: 663 (57% of valid votes) - 2009 Feb 14 — Estimate of Operating Loss for 2008 — Added discussion concerning the CPA's Operating Loss will be greater worse than MOA's by about $50,000. Consequently, Mr. Chwatun's estimate of an operating loss of $200,000 would be $250,000 if reported by the CPA using generally accepted accounting principles.
- 2009 Jan 09 — Formal Protest — Proposed Amendment to DMCCR Concerning Venue — Ongoing updates as additional information and questions become available. It is doubtful that the proposed amendment is valid under the law and governing documents. Certainly, there are many questions that the board of directors has not answered.

__Many of the posts are works in progress and will be updated as time permits. Because of the way the software maintains the file names, the original month of posting has to be maintained. To ensure that the internet links and indexing work, the updates must retain the original file name.
__The monthly updates will maintain a list of updates from most recent to most ancient. Files updated will be posted by date of update and title of the post. Click on the title to link to the updated post. The "Recent Updates" will contain the brief summaries for at least the last 30 days.
